Chef Cal Hingston joined the Norwich Inn in 2007 bringing with him over 11 years of restaurant experience. He came to the Inn after 7 years as Chef at the Bella Luna Restaurant in Portsmouth, NH. Prior to that he held the position of Sous Chef at the Metro Restaurant, also in Portsmouth. As a student, he interned at the prestigious Boarding House Restaurant on Nantucket.

Chef Cal is a graduate of New England Culinary Institute with an associates degree in Culinary Arts. He also has an associates degree in Food Service Management from the University of New Hampshire. Hingston and his team excel at innovative cuisine using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients. Proud of its membership in the Vermont Fresh Network the Inn is committed to using products from Vermont’s working landscape.
