The Norwich Inn sits 1.3 miles across the Connecticut River from Dartmouth College, 4 miles from Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, just minutes away from Norwich’s King Arthur Baking, the Montshire Museum of Science, and numerous four-season recreational opportunities. Right off Interstate 91, the Norwich Inn is easy to get to by car. If you’re coming from New York or Boston, the Dartmouth Coach provides luxury coach transport to Hanover. For train travelers, disembark at the Amtrak Vermonter in White River Junction. Lebanon Municipal Airport is 10 miles away.

We offer a shuttle service to take our Inn guests to and from King Arthur Baking in Norwich, the Dartmouth College Campus in Hanover and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon NH. It is generally available daily from 8am to 6pm, per person each way:
We request that you reserve this service 24 hours in advance of your needs. We could setup your transportation service upon booking or check-in, which ever you prefer.
We have added two, level 2 EV chargers for our guests’ convenience. These chargers will provide you easy access to charging needs throughout your stay. Costs are $2 per hour or a $12 flat fee for overnight charging. This service is for Inn guests and dining patrons only. A key is required to access the chargers, which are available at the front desk.
Advance reservations of one of the two chargers are possible for overnight guests, subject to availability. Reservations for more than one day will incur a $25/day charge. Advance reservations are not available during peak periods such as event weekends, when the use of the EV chargers may be higher.
A large parking area, conveniently located between the three lodging buildings, provides ample complimentary parking for guests.

❤️ If you visited us this summer, there’s a pretty good chance your experience was made a little better by these two!
This summer we were lucky enough to welcome Teodora from Bulgaria and Daniela from Romania to the Norwich Inn as part of our J-1 team.
They came in with fresh energy, big smiles, and a willingness to help wherever they were needed. And we definitely put that willingness to the test! From housekeeping to the kitchen to breakfast, Teodora and Daniela jumped in and became part of our team from day one.
We’re fortunate to have an amazing team here all year long, but during our busy season, having these two here to reinforce that team was a huge help. We truly couldn’t have done it without them.
Now, somehow, it’s already time to say goodbye. 😢
Teodora and Daniela, thank you for everything you brought to the Inn this summer. We hope you leave Vermont with some great memories, because you certainly helped create plenty of them here.
You may be heading home, but you’ll always be Innmates. ❤️
