If the Inn is shown as sold out, let us know if you would like to be placed on our waiting list. Call or email us with details about the dates, your room preference, and the best way to reach you.
● Rates quoted are for double occupancy. For each additional person in the same room, it’s $15/night.
● We guarantee the best rate available when you book directly with the Inn via our website booking engine or call us. If you can find a better rate for the same date(s) and the same level of accommodations elsewhere on the internet, we will match it, less 10%.
● Rates are subject to change and may be higher than listed during special-event weekends and other periods of peak activity.
● Rates do not include local taxes.
● A two-night minimum stay is required for many weekends, holiday periods, and special events.
● Reservations for Dartmouth Graduation Weekend require a three-night minimum stay (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and a full, non-refundable deposit for three nights.
● Reservations can be made one year in advance of arrival.
● Reservations made for a number of special event weekends will require a deposit for one or two nights’ stay, which will be credited to the guest’s account at checkout. Advance deposits are nonrefundable. Guests who cancel the reservation, do not arrive, or depart early from a minimum stay forfeit their deposit.
● Reservations canceled within the cancellation period for the scheduled arrival will be charged for the first night’s stay.
● Check-in is 4 PM; Checkout is 11 AM. 24-hour check-in.
● We have “pet-friendly” rooms, located in the Ivy Lodge. Please notify us if your pet will be joining you. There is a pet fee of $60 per pet, per day. Additional fees may be assessed if there is extensive damage to the room.
● The entire interior of the Inn is non-smoking, including all guest rooms. A $100 room recovery fee will be charged for non-compliance.

Just like Appalachian Trail hikers, the monarch butterflies seem to know exactly when it’s time to return to Norwich.
Yesterday we spotted our first monarch of the season fluttering around the patio, and it quickly became the star of the afternoon. Guests paused their meals to watch as it floated from flower to flower, reminding us that some of the best moments of summer are the unexpected ones.
If you’re dining with us over the next few weeks, keep an eye out. You never know when one of these beautiful travelers might stop by to say hello. 🦋
✨ It’s the little things that make a big difference.
Over the past several weeks, Dale and Christian have been hard at work refinishing the tabletops in the Newhart Room, Pub, and Terrace. They sanded, stained, and refinished each one by hand, and the results speak for themselves.
Projects like this often happen behind the scenes, but they’re all part of making sure the Norwich Inn is looking its best for our guests.
The next time you’re in for dinner or a drink, take a look. We think they turned out pretty great.
