Just across the river from Hanover, New Hampshire, Jasper Murdock’s Alehouse offers a relaxed, welcoming dining experience wherever you choose to sit, whether in the Pub, the outdoor Patio, indoor Terrace, or the Newhart Room. Our inspired menu is served throughout, featuring pub favorites and seasonal entrées. Our Jasper Murdock Ales are piped to the taps directly from our on-site Brewery. Reservations are recommended, and the full menu is available to-go. Menus are updated regularly to reflect the seasons.

Eat, drink, work, meet, or all of the above in the Newhart Room, where you can order drinks, appetizers, and light fare during regular restaurant hours. Have a small work meeting, come in with a friend to watch the game, or just stop by for some conversation and a cocktail. There are plenty of reasons to love this room, named after the popular TV show “Newhart,” for which the Inn and the Town of Norwich are claimed to be the inspiration.
During the warmer months, we offer table service in our outdoor dining area, a relaxed setting in which to enjoy the season.
Adjacent to the Newhart Room, the Terrace is bright and casual. A cozy fireplace warms the ambiance in the winter months. The Terrace also accommodates private banquets and meetings.
The Pub is a friendly place where locals and Inn guests rendezvous for a hearty meal and a house-brewed Jasper Murdock Ale. Our full dining menu is offered. See the latest beer list on our brewery page.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for our first End of Summer Block Party today.
What started as a small idea from Caroline at Dan & Whit’s turned into such an amazing and fun community event. One of the best parts for us was seeing so many familiar faces that we hadn’t seen much during the busy summer months and getting a chance to slow down, catch up, and reconnect.
A big thank you to the great teams at Dan & Whit’s and the Norwich Inn for making it all happen, to the Norwich Recreation Department for their help, and to The Funky Flats for providing such great live music all afternoon.
And most of all, thank you to this great town for showing up. Seeing everyone spread out on the lawns, enjoying the music, food, drinks, and each other’s company was exactly what we hoped this event would be.

After a lot of work behind the scenes, our new Norwich Inn website is officially LIVE.
This has been a long project, and we’re really excited to finally share it with you. We wanted a site that better tells the story of the Norwich Inn while making it easier to explore our rooms, Jasper Murdock’s Alehouse & Brewery, things to do around the Upper Valley, upcoming specials and everything happening here at the Inn.
