King Arthur has lined up guest instructors and staff experts for hands-on baking classes, seminars, off-site tours of Vermont businesses, demonstrations, and more. Located less than a mile from the KAF Baking Education Center, the Norwich Inn is offering a special package room rate of 20 percent off to visiting participants for the evenings of September 5 and 6. We are also pleased to include a welcome imperial pint of one of our own Jasper Murdock Ales.

It never ceases to amaze us how this town comes together for big community events, but this Halloween was especially one for the books!

A huge shoutout to the Norwich Police Department and Recreation Department for really stepping up their game this year! Between the decorations, the Main Street road closure, and the flash mob… chef’s kiss! 👨‍🍳💋

And a heartfelt thank you to all the local businesses, organizations, volunteers, and neighbors who helped make the day so special.

We truly are so lucky to be part of such a wonderful community. ❤️

🎃👻 Halloween in Norwich is almost here, and our little town is getting ready for a spooktacular afternoon!

One of our favorite things about Norwich is how the whole community comes together for Halloween. From spooky walks and story times to trick-or-treating, live entertainment, and plenty of treats, there’s something for everyone!

Here’s what’s happening around town this Saturday, October 31!

🎃 1:00–2:00 PM – Halloween Story Time at the Norwich Bookstore

🌲 2:00–4:00 PM – NorWitchy Woods Walk at the Milton Frye Nature Area

☕ 3:30–4:30 PM – Stop by the Norwich Inn for cider, hot chocolate, and cookies!

💃 4:30 PM – Halloween Flash Mob on Main Street! Want to join? Practice is Saturday from 11:00–11:45 AM at Tracy Hall.

👻 4:30–6:30 PM – Halloween Celebration at the Norwich Grange

🌭 4:30 PM – Hot Dog Open House at the Norwich Fire Department

🍬 4:30–6:00 PM – Trick-or-Treating at Omnia Hair Studio

🌸 5:00–6:30 PM – Millie Fleur’s Poison Garden readings and garden walk at 395 Main Street

🤡 5:00–6:15 PM – Mr. Bill, Nigh, the Clowning Guy at the Children’s Art Studio

🍲 5:00–7:00 PM – Bread, soup, and cider at the Norwich Congregational Church

🚻 Tracy Hall will also be open from 3:00–7:00 PM for bathrooms and water.

The leaves are changing, the air is getting crisp, and our fountain is still flowing… for now!

Before those chilly Vermont nights get cold enough that we have to shut it down for the season, come enjoy one of our favorite little spots at the Inn.

Take a stroll through Norwich, soak in the fall colors, stop and enjoy the fountain, and maybe stick around for a bite to eat or a locally brewed beer.
