A Few Extra Reasons to Plan Your Stay

The Inn offers several Vermont vacation packages that highlight our location, on-site craft brewery, and nearby attractions, including Dartmouth College and King Arthur Flour. These packages provide valuable, seasonal experiences, so come back often to see what is available.

To book a vacation package for your next Norwich, Vermont, getaway, email us at innkeeper@norwichinn.com or call 802-649-1143. For all Norwich Inn vacation packages, the following conditions apply: Taxes and gratuities are not included, unless stated in the packages. These packages are not applicable in conjunction with any other discounts or promotions and are for new reservations only. They are subject to availability, and you must book directly with the Inn to qualify for the package benefits.

King Arthur Baking Class Rates

The Norwich Inn is located less than 1 mile from the King Arthur Baking Education Center. KAB “students” can enjoy a 20% discount when staying with us from November through April, and weekdays (Sunday-Thursday) from May through October. This benefit is subject to availability and certain blackout dates. There is a shuttle service to and from the Inn and KAB for $5 per person, each way. The shuttle is available from 8 AM to 6 PM, and 24 hours’ advance notice is requested.

Vermont Brewery & Spirits Tour

Enjoy a two-night stay at The Norwich Inn paired with a full-day guided Brew & Spirits Tour through Vermont, no driving required! Your customized tour will include a mix of breweries, distilleries, and interesting Vermont stops, tailored to your tastes and venue schedules.

Popular stops may include King Arthur Baking Company, Simon Pearce Glass, WhistlePig Whiskey, SILO Distillery, Harpoon Brewery, River Roost Brewery, and Putnam’s Vine/Yard.

Your package includes two nights of lodging, a welcome beer flight at Jasper Murdock’s Alehouse, full-day transportation, a $25 dining credit per room, a 22-oz. take-home bottle of Jasper Murdock Ale per person, and a block of Whistling Pig Ale Cheddar from Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company.

Sunday through Wednesday packages start at $369 per person based on double occupancy or $529 for single occupancy. Groups of four or more receive a $25 discount per person. Weekend tours are also available at higher rates. Please contact us for current weekend pricing.

Tours are based on availability, require a minimum of two guests, and can accommodate up to six. Lunch, additional beverages, tasting fees, and gratuities are not included.

Shuttle Service to Nearby Attractions

We offer a shuttle service to take Inn guests to oopular Upper Valley attractions and transportation venues. It is generally available daily from 8 AM to 6 PM. Rates are per person each way: Dartmouth College $8; King Arthur Baking $5; DHMC and AMTRAK White River Junction: $20; Lebanon Airport: $25. We request that you reserve this service 24 hours in advance of your needs. We can set up your transportation service upon booking or check-in, whichever you prefer. Please note this service is not available Friday through Sunday of Dartmouth graduation weekend.

DHMC Rest Easy Discount

For those visiting or using the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) facility, the Norwich Inn offers a 20% discount off room rates for each day of your stay. To qualify for the rates, you must book directly with the Inn; please bring your “Room Rate Voucher,” which can be obtained from the Rest Easy Brochure or at the DHMC Information Desk. Zero Gravity Oktoberfest is so good that Barley, our resident Whistling Pig, has traded his usual first pint of Whistling Pig Red Ale for an Oktoberfest.

Looked out the parlor window of Room 32 this morning and spotted the first little tinge of fall starting to show on the tree outside.

It’s always amazing how quickly things start to change once September arrives. Today it’s just a hint of color, but before we know it, Norwich will be putting on its full fall show.

Cool mornings, warm afternoons, green hills with the first hints of color starting to show. Honestly, it’s one of my favorite times of year around here.

It’s not too late to sneak away for a late-summer, early-fall Vermont stay. Come spend a few days with us, explore the Upper Valley, eat well, enjoy a local beer, and get a little soul feeding in before the busy fall season arrives.

❤️ What an afternoon!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for our first End of Summer Block Party today.

What started as a small idea from Caroline at Dan & Whit’s turned into such an amazing and fun community event. One of the best parts for us was seeing so many familiar faces that we hadn’t seen much during the busy summer months and getting a chance to slow down, catch up, and reconnect.

A big thank you to the great teams at Dan & Whit’s and the Norwich Inn for making it all happen, to the Norwich Recreation Department for their help, and to The Funky Flats for providing such great live music all afternoon.

And most of all, thank you to this great town for showing up. Seeing everyone spread out on the lawns, enjoying the music, food, drinks, and each other’s company was exactly what we hoped this event would be.

After a lot of work behind the scenes, our new Norwich Inn website is officially LIVE.

This has been a long project, and we’re really excited to finally share it with you. We wanted a site that better tells the story of the Norwich Inn while making it easier to explore our rooms, Jasper Murdock’s Alehouse & Brewery, things to do around the Upper Valley, upcoming specials and everything happening here at the Inn.
